I went round to my colleague's house today for lunch. He is French, and they have some weird things at mealtimes! Between main course and pudding they have a cheese sandwich or yoghurt!! Weird. He made us tea by giving us an empty cup, the box of teabags, and then brought the kettle to the table. It was funny!!
I have toothache today as well. I have a rogue wisdom tooth, and every so often it gets infected and causes me a lot of grief! I have been trying to pop the pus out of it, but so far no relief
Hope it goes off soon, it is doing my head in!!
Hamish has a bit of a sore side, but I am not sure why. I am going to investigate further tomorrow morning, but I suspect he has fallen and pulled a muscle, or had a row with Ellie and she has booted him. He still has a healthy appetite, so I am sure he will be fine!
Off to fanny around now for a couple of hours, before retiring - I am knackered
. I am taking the folks to see my friends tomorrow, and to play with their puppy - hopefully I can persuade them that a wee pup might help to fill the gap Spike has left in our lives. Night night
. It must be because it is January, and everyone hates January. Never mind, in a week hopefully worklife will be back to normal and I can breathe a sigh of relief!
. I was going to brush Hamish today, but he was so wet and filthy that it would have been a waste of time. Those poor horses in Amersham, that has broken my heart. Sadly this level of abuse happens daily, but not on such a large scale. I must send some of my old bits and bobs down to them.
I am proud of myself. I have also stood next to my friend while she had a fag and didn't rob her of it. Yay!! I just remind myself that I am doing this for my boy, and I can stay 'clean'! The dieting thing is also not too bad either. So far I have not eaten a load of junk, so when I weigh myself hopefully I can report a good weightloss....
